Challenges faced by the GroupFour Seasons Health Care is one of the UK’s largest independent health care providers caring for more than 10,000 people across the UK. With over 150 homes across the UK, they had an ongoing significant need for Registered General Nurses to provide residents with long-term and respite residential, nursing and dementia care. Solutions and ResultsThe goals of the recruitment project and each cohort was identified by working in collaboration with the Clinical, HR and Procurement team at Four Seasons. Nurses with the required IELTS and CBT pass marks, who were most suitable for each vacancy, were carefully shortlisted for interview by our direct offices overseas. The whole recruitment process was led by our Director, Bindhu Matthew, who is also an NMC Pinned RGN with NHS and overseas nursing work experience. Bindhu was supported by our specialist recruitment team in the UK and overseas. 96% of the candidates who attended interviews received offers and each position was filled within 3-5 months of the offer date. All nurses passed OSCE within 8 months of arrival with 100% OSCE pass rate. Upon receipt of the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), our dedicated visa support officers provided candidates with visa application support, appointment booking and visa collection. Our specialist recruitment team provided assistance with travel arrangements, sourcing accommodation as well as arranging airport pick ups on arrival into the UK. All four candidates have settled in well and are enjoying their new careers in the UK.
