Four Seasons Healthcare
"They provide good quality nurses who have passed IELTS."
Nursingjobsuk supported Four Seasons Healthcare between 2014 to 2018 to fill their permanent vacancies with good quality international nurses. Over 50 nurses were supplied from India and other overseas locations helping them to maintain their staffing requirements and reduce temporary agency costs.
Challenges faced by the Group
Four Seasons Health Care is one of the UK’s largest independent health care providers caring for more than 10,000 people across the UK. With over 150 homes across the UK, they had an ongoing significant need for Registered General Nurses to provide residents with long-term and respite residential, nursing and dementia care.
Solutions and Results
The goals of the recruitment project and each cohort was identified by working in collaboration with the Clinical, HR and Procurement team at Four Seasons. Nurses with the required IELTS and CBT pass marks, who were most suitable for each vacancy, were carefully shortlisted for interview by our direct offices overseas. The whole recruitment process was led by our Director, Bindhu Matthew, who is also an NMC Pinned RGN with NHS and overseas nursing work experience. Bindhu was supported by our specialist recruitment team in the UK and overseas.
96% of the candidates who attended interviews received offers and each position was filled within 3-5 months of the offer date. All nurses passed OSCE within 8 months of arrival with 100% OSCE pass rate. With an exceptional retention rate of 99% Nursingjobsuk were able to help Four Seasons Healthcare maintain their promise of providing good quality care to their residents.
"NursingJobsUK has been assisting us to recruit overseas nurses for the past several years. They provide good quality nurses who have passed IELTS from India and other countries. We are extremely happy with the communication skills and experience of their candidates. They assist candidates to obtain NMC Decision Letter as well as to process Visa applications which helps to make the whole placement a lot quicker. I am happy to recommend them to healthcare organisations who are looking for fast and efficient international nurse recruitment."

Oaklands Nursing Home
"The sponsorship process is not an easy one and having the help from Mathew and his team has been invaluable."
Oaklands is an independently run Nursing and Residential care home on the outskirts of Burnley. Nursingjobsuk was approached by the management of the home to help them ease their staff shortage by recruiting both international Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants.
Challenges Faced By The Home
Like many care homes in the sector, Oaklands were experiencing difficulties recruiting health care staff in their locality.
As the owners of the home were relatively inexperienced in recruiting from overseas, they approached us at NursingjobsUK for help sourcing suitable international candidates.
Solutions and Results
Working in partnership with the home we confirmed the details of the recruitment project including the skills, experience, and qualifications required. In addition to sourcing candidates from our existing database we implemented a marketing campaign to attract suitable candidates
Suitable candidates were carefully shortlisted for interview by our direct offices overseas and our team facilitated remote video-based interviews on behalf of the home. 100% of the candidates who attended interviews received offers.
All our nursing candidates were provided with CBT/OSCE exam training support before travelling to the UK as part of our unique blended learning approach supported by innovative technology. Once in the UK the nurses took part in OSCE Mock exams delivered by our Director, Bindhu Matthew, who is also an NMC Pinned RGN with NHS and overseas nursing work experience. Our dedicated recruitment team working on behalf of Oaklands did the OSCE exam booking for the nurses. All nurses passed OSCE within 4 months of arrival with 100% OSCE pass rate. With the contribution of international nurses and health care assistants, Oaklands have been able to continue to provide quality nursing and residential care and the owners of the home are happy with the service they received.
"Working with Mathew has been a pleasure and he and his team have been available to provide guidance and information at every step of the way when recruiting nurses and carers for our Nursing Home in Burnley, Lancashire. The sponsorship process is not an easy one and having the help from Mathew and his team has been invaluable and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nursing Jobs U.K. to any other providers/managers in the care industry."

Ellenborough Nursing Home
Ellenborough Care Home is a family-owned care and nursing home based in Weston Super Mare. Nursingjobsuk supported the home in 2022 to fill their permanent health care assistant vacancies.
Challenges Faced By The Home
Ellenborough’s owners had taken over the home in 2020 just as the pandemic struck. This was particularly challenging for them but with the support and dedication of their existing team meant they could continue providing the high standard of care for their residents.By 2022 they were experiencing difficulties recruiting health care assistants, a problem which was mirrored throughout the UK care industry caused in part by the burnout effects of the covid pandemic and Brexit.
Ellenborough approached NursingjobsUK for help sourcing suitable international candidates as they were new to international recruitment having only recently secured a sponsor licence enabling them to employ skilled workers who are based overseas.
Solutions and Results
Working in partnership with the home we confirmed the details of the recruitment project including the skills, experience, and qualifications required. In addition to sourcing candidates from our existing database we implemented a marketing campaign to attract suitable candidates. Coastal locations such as Weston Super Mare are not always as popular with overseas candidates as larger cities such as Manchester are, so we focussed on other selling points such as its seaside location and quality of life.
Suitable candidates were carefully shortlisted for interview by our direct offices overseas and our team facilitated remote video-based interviews on behalf of the home. 100% of the candidates who attended interviews received offers and each position was filled within 1-2 months of the offer date. Upon receipt of the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), our dedicated visa support officers provided candidates with visa application support, appointment booking and visa collection. Our specialist recruitment team provided assistance with travel arrangements, sourcing accommodation as well as arranging airport pick ups on arrival into the UK.
All four candidates have settled in well and are enjoying their new careers in the UK. Ellenborough Care Home have been able to continue to provide their residents with the highest quality of care and the owners of the home are happy with the service they received and have requested additional recruitment support in 2023.
"We approached NursingjobsUK at a time when we were struggling to recruit local health care staff. From our very first meeting we have found the service that NursingjobsUK provide to be seamless. The four health care assistants recruited from overseas have settled into our team well and have had a positive impact on our staffing levels. The quality of the carers is excellent and they all have a real sense of purpose. One of the main challenges we faced was sourcing suitable accommodation for the carers but this was taken care of by NursingjobsUK. Mathew James has been incredibly helpful and has been available regardless of time zone.Henna from the recruitment team has responded promptly at all times and has been a real help when setting up candidate interviews via Zoom. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mathew and the team to other care home providers."
