NursingJobsUK is looking for enthusiastic and passionate RGN to work full-time or part-time hours in a Care Home situated in Preston.

Package 

  • Salary: Competitive Pay Starting at £21.00 (weekend rate £26.00)
  • Shifts: Shifts Available throughout the week

Candidates are required to have the following documents;

  • An updated DBS
  • In date training certificates 
  • Proof of Right to Work within the U.K.
  • NMC Pin verification required.

Your Jobs and Responsibilities consist of:  

  • Serving meals and helping to feed patients.
  • Helping people to move around.
  • Toileting.
  • Making beds.
  • Talking to patients and making them comfortable.
  • Monitoring patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respiration, and weight.

Your main responsibility will be ensuring that residents are comfortable, looked after and receiving the highest standard of care

1.         Should be registered with NMC.

2.         Able to work on own or in a team in a nursing home environment for elderly.

3.         Assist doctors, deal with emergencies and prepare patients for examination.

4.         Monitor progress, administer medicines and apply surgical dressings and other forms of treatment.

5.         Write care plans and carry out risk assessments. Plan rotas and organize & direct work, training for care and nursing staff.

6.         Liaise with doctors, social workers, CQC and other agencies.

7.         Ensure adherence to policies.

8.         Assist in smooth and efficient running of nursing home.

9.         Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.
